Continuing my usual luck with the beaurocracy in any form of education system, this semester is off to a grand start. One of my courses DISEAPEARED. Introductory calculus is no longer on my schedule. It was there a week ago, it is not today. As well a course that i'd already taken last year and was excused from showed up on my grades as a fail. I went to the administration office, the line up was litterally farther than i could see becuase it went around the corner into the next wing. On the bright side, being in oakville is great. No more parents, my computer is here, my guitar is still in need of repair but overall ya... mmmm so good to be in my real bed.
On a whole other note. Why do people put up fronts? This is driving me nuts. People will say one thing to you and then act entirely different. People are trying to be 'honest' with you and tell you something very definitive, but the second their guards are down, let it be an emotional break, drunken rambling, or grand realization, they will come out and act naturally. This is often entirely contradictory to what they said to you prior. I know this is a reoccuring theme for me but seriously people be honest with yourself and others. Especially when it's about something you know to be important. If you're trying to protect yourself, existing on fake premise doesn't cure the problem, it only deals with the symptoms.
