My battle with the computer
TECHNICAL VERSION:
I wanted to reformat a computer, start it from scratch. My computer has
Drive A Part 1) Win98
Drive A Part 2) Winxp old
Drive A Part 3) Winxp new
Drive A Part 4) FAT32 Space
Drive B Part 1) NTFS Space
Drive C Part 1) Target drive
I made an image on the winxp new drive. I primarily use the winxp old drive. After reinstallng and Sysprepping i copied the winxp to target drive. I restart the computer and the new xp OS reinitializes but it changes all my logical drive assignments so that no drive has links to the proper drive letters. My D:\ partition turned to E:\ and my C:\ went to D:\. This caused nothing to boot with a bad NTLDR and a useless Boot.ini. Now my main drive is fucked and i have re download my imaging software, my mounting software and manually copy through a dos boot some integral win XP files just to get an error ridden OS up and running so that i can edit the new drive. After a total fresh reinstall of winxp new, i use sysprep, i start it up "System is not properly installed, please reinstall" BAM!!! IN MY FACE. Turns out 3rd party network drivers cause major issues when using Sysprep. I found this out one more install later. I believe this has taken me roughly 20 hours of my life since friday. Not impressed. Reinstalling then making a sysprep image without the Network drivers. I should really be working on my essay and math assignemnt right now...

I'm sailing accross the river styx, my frigate The Brave is fighting the torrential down pour, it's sister ship Perseverance has been attacked by Hades himself. When the Brave reaches her, the Perseverance is heavily damaged, the tortured souls of the underworld have been raining destruction on her masts for days, the crew tried to hold up but they can't pull off this miracle. I order my crew to run over with one of our masts so that we can catch the wind and sail away from this losing battle, the storm picks up as lightning strikes the Brave, now it has only one mast left... and even that is in sad repair. "FIGHT ON!!!" While all the outside forces are attacking us, all of a sudden our supply is stopped by Cerberus assault! Now i am standing knee deep in the dead, two ships that can't go anywhere and trapped in hell and it's getting tighter by the second...
