Greetings!
I am trying to learn Minnesotian to blend in with the natives but all I can manage is "oooooaaaaaaoooooooooooh." That sounds almost like a word, right?
The week has been exhausting, but fun. I spent all of Tuesday night writing out my name to give out to the kids on Wednesday. Klatt asked how I could write with my fins. Well, I'll let you in on a secret, Trent:
I don't!
I have this handy dandy device that attaches itself to my nose and head. You can put a pointer in it and I can type, or I can put a pencil in it and write out my name.
It takes a long time and often makes me dizzy. But luckily Fin isn't a long name!
I spent the day hanging out with some stupid American kids. How do you not know what province Vancouver is in? I know that Utah is in the United States of America. I've never been there, but I know it's there.
I watched the game last night at the hotel. It was a lot of fun! I tried getting the room to cheer with me for the goals, but then I realized I was the only one in the room. So I cheered extra hard.
The Twins must have heard me because they played extra good.
Tomorrow is an especially exciting day. The All Star Skills competition! I will be cheering for all the players from the West, particularly Todd and Markus. Yay! Markus is the captain. I am so proud of him. He gets a fins up from me.
