Am I the next DivX convert?
So I got Toast 7 by Roxio the other day for my powerbook, and I'm trying it out. No, I haven't tried burning dual layer discs yet (oh- did I mention "santa" brought a lightscribe dual layer burner for the entire family to use? =P ), and being the person that I am I first began compressing a DVD to see how it goes (I got Advertising Rules, and it was right at hand. While it doesn't have much action, etc. we'll see how it goes). I think that I might use Toast to compress certain movies to non-DivX format just because of the limitations on the audio bitrate that seem pretty low . . . I mean, with my parent's bose speakers, every little bit counts hehehhehe. Now where's the G5 I need to make this shit go faster?
