Lilacs and busy days
Today was a great day. I had breakfast with my friend Laura and managed to find something relatively healthy for me to eat at Panera Bread. Then I came home and ran lots of chores and later had lunch with Howard. I did maintenance on Yellow Bird, changing the air filter, adding fluids and cleaning the carb. I followed that up with washing both the 'Stangs and Howard's bike. Then while he barbecued, I cleared big piles of debris in my garden. Whew.
Tomorrow I think I will see what the compost piles have been doing. Hopefully I can empty them and add all of today's leaves and what not. Then I can get to planting some of the plants I bought.
My lilac tree is absolutely gorgeous this year. Each year it gives me more and more blooms and makes me very happy. I doubt the person who gave it to me will ever see this post, but I am forever grateful for the gift. Thank you.
