Sure! =:o> These handy-dandy tips have kept me alive so far...
1. When eating streaky bacon, carefully cut out all the streaks. Eat the red bits, not the white bits! Better: Go for back bacon, and then you just have to trim one edge. (Do you even *get* proper bacon in the US? Last I heard, it was no. =:o\ )
2. When eating beefburgers, (a) grill rather than fry, (b) while grilling, stick a knife through the middle of each one to help the fat drain out, (c) before serving, queeze them gently against the grill rack with a fork for about 6 seconds each, to extract more fat.
3. When eating fried eggs, slide the egg to the edge of the plate, where it slopes upward, and leave it there for a while. This helps the fat to drain away before you eat it.
4. And when at McDonald's, choose the option without cheese. =:o}
(Note: These tips are "healthy" in the sense that if I don't eat half a pound of meat every day, I disappear. Weird metabolism. =:o\ Plus some days, fried food is the only thing that will cheer me up enough to function. But our family has cholesterol problems, so I have to expunge all excess fat as thoroughly as possible.)
