Food choices

So, I decided to go gluten free/dairy free as an experiment, partially because I'm still doing the DDPYOGA and Dallas recommends it. We've done gluten free for a few years now, and I do think it makes a real difference for me (otherwise I wouldn't stick with it!). Mostly mood-related, but also minor aches and pains. Nothing particularly serious, but it's enough to make me believe that gluten is inflammatory, and could lead to more serious problems for me eventually.

We've had good luck using coconut milk in most things that call for milk, and also use almond milk, but that tends to have more additives. I choose cow milk over soy if those are the only options - soy milk just doesn't agree with my stomach.

I've been slacking off on all this recently with the holidays and all. At home I'm fine, but it's hard at work when people bring in food, and I'm good at making good choices when a good choice is available, but less so at resisting when there is no good choice. I've been strict for the past week - more because I'm being constantly exposed to illness, and eating dairy/wheat (not sure which it is, maybe both) make me much more susceptible to getting it badly. And I do feel better.
