Growing fast!
The kittens turned one month old yesterday. Their legs are finally working consistently and they are attempting to run, mostly sideways. Bruiser hasn't quite gotten the hang of traction so mostly he moonwalks on the bathroom floor. They can easily climb out of the bed they were in now ( a large plastic container with high sides) and have found the soft cat bed in the shower stall and sleep there mostly. Earlier this week I put a low cat pan out for them and they have both used it! This morning, when I fed Gushies (their mama) her canned food I put a little in a shallow bowl with lots of gravy and Bruiser ate some. Wow! Stryper seems a little behind the food curve but she did drink a little water. I've successfully raised kittens twice before this on my own but having a mama cat there to do the dirty work and show them the ropes is so much easier. Since Gushies trusts us, she lets us take the kittens out several times a day to play with them. Yay kittens! If I ever have more than a moment to post, I have a ton of pics of the babies.
