Yesterday's good thing

So, I did say a good thing happened yesterday. Actually, it was both good and fun. Yesterday, we stopped at an Old Country Buffet for lunch on the way home. While eating, a large, middle aged, muscular man and his wife sat down beside us. We started a casual conversation over the size of his wife's purse and how he could bench 500 lbs but her purse was just too heavy for him to carry. So I said when he walked in I was thinking of asking if he was a professional body builder. So then he asks Howard if his phone has internet and asks him to look up Tony Atlas. Anyone who followed wrestling in it's early years will know the name Tony Atlas. Well, we were sitting next to the man himself. And I must say he was one of the nicest people I have ever met. We chatted about wrestling and his body building titles and how he settled in Maine about 20 years ago. Bree asked who he was and I told her she was sitting next to a bonafide wrestling legend. It was quite an experience for a kid who grew up watching wrestling Saturday mornings. Howard and Tony had a lively conversation about the state of wrestling today. Tony now owns his own gym in Maine and seems to be doing well for himself. Both he and his wife were very friendly and nice and Tony seemed to really appreciate that we knew who he was. As we left, he asked Bree if she wanted a picture and I asked if I could jump in too. It was definitely the high point of a rather difficult day.
