Proof the world is small

I worked at the RKO Keiths, a beautiful vaudeville theater that was converted to a movie theater, from 1982-1985.

The theater has been derelict for decades. In 1986 it was bought by a real estate developer who then "allegedly" had it's landmarked area destroyed so he could proceed with his plans.

Since then, the RKO has been owned by several companies and then sold again. It was bought just recently and it looks like finally it will have it's foyer restored and the rest will be turned into senior housing.

There was an article about the restoration into today's Courier, one of the local papers. In it, there was a small piece mentioning that Jon Favreau, who grew up in Whitestone, worked as an usher there in 1983.

Let's say that again. Jon Favreau, director of Iron Man, worked at the RKO Keiths in 1983.
I worked there from 1982 to 1985.

Wait for it...

Holy shit, I worked with Jon Favreau as some point. FLAILS.

That explosion you hear is my head as my world just got a little smaller.
