This post is directed at any who may read my occasional updates and live in Central to Southern Florida . I know many people out there are a bit apprehensive about this monstrous storm that is due to impact our humble shore within the next few days . I also realize that when faced with impending doom most of us may need a bit of reassurance , especially in the spiritual sense . As a man of the cloth I feel I can dispense some much needed calm to your anxious souls . So just as the acid-fried hippy at a Phish show let my words erase all doubt from your minds .(my holinesses pwne5 y0r 50u1)
Don't fear death . Death is simply like the sleep after a long night of heavy drinking , dreamless and total in it's dissolution . But even better than that there is no waking to a monstrous hangover or having to hear about any of the debaucherous and shameful things you did the night before . The idea that some invisible man in the sky is going to judge you based on your actions in life is ridiculous and wrong . There is not going to be any sort of cosmic uber-granny to sort you into wastebasket like compartments of heaven or hell . All thats waiting for us on the otherside is a state of interminable unconsciousness . Obviously that does sound rather boring , but guess what ? Your not even going to realize because you'll be fucking DEAD !! So my advice to all of you wayward children out there is to follow my example : batten down the hatches , surround your self with survival items such as batteries , candles and canned food and most definitely hit up the local 7-11 ; they have 20 packs of budweisser for 13 dollars . Try not to worry about death to much and if your roof blows off , calmly kneel down and kiss your ass goodbye .
