I handed in my resignation today. While I was expecting a bit of bitching at least, the boss just looked at my resignation when I handed it to him, then up again... "Damn, you're formal." Then he just put it aside. "Alright, so when do you want to get out of here?"
Turns out he had seen it coming and didn't blame me one bit, and had already started looking for a replacement. Now, officially I have a month left of work after the notice has been handed in, but I told him that if he has touble actually finding a replacement I can work to the end of September, though I'd rather not. Might be going to Germany for a bit late in September. Also, if they're in a desperate lack of personel for a night, he can always give me a call. If I'm in town and not too busy, I can always put in a few hours.
...and then I'm going to Norway. Eventually.
