So I ended up dropping out of school. Not much of a fuss, though. Because of work and personal issues, I was failing everything anyway, so I though that I might as well do something else instead of hanging around and feeling stupid.
Got some good news today. My boss up at the restaurant called around nine (woke me up, too). First of all, I suddenly have three days of work next week. Second, I have work all summer. Quite a lot even, about 30 hours a week, which is a lot more than I had during the winter-season.
So no money-problems this summer.
In other news, I have decided to apply for a folk high-school. It's the place I have been running around with Jenny, Snake, patrik and the rest of the gang. It's a different school than the one I just dropped out off, and it's A LOT better. I'll try to get a room at the dorms, but I'm not sure if I can get one. Which leaves a bit of a problem with my current appartment. Should I give notice that I'm moving, or not?
Anyway, now that my bigger problems has been solved, or are going to be solved, I can finally direct my mind to some more creative things. I have a post for CCD almost done. Feel horrible for not having done anything about it in so long. Hell, there's been weeks since I last posted.
Have a few new pics that I'm working on. Don't know how they will turn out yet.
I'm going to bug Lars (Moms new guy) about an appointment in the smithy. Ah, white-hot iron and sledgehammers.
Also, this seems to be the spring for falling in love with bands and albums. First, there was Crematory. I'm still kinda obsessed with them. Then, I got a hold of Sentenced's last album, and I don't think I need to tell you how much I adore that, concidering my last post.
A few day ago, I found out that another of my all-time favorite bands, Charon, had released a new album (Songs for the sinners) as well. So I got my greedy little fingers on it, and I just can't stop smiling.
Now, there are a few problems with Charon. Their main weakness is the lyrics. Not in basic contents, but in the grammar and choices or words. Charon is a finnish band and I'm sorry to say that JP, the singer who writes most of the lyrics, isn't all that good when it comes to the english language. (But then again, should I really be allowed to complain?)
Still, even with lyrics that sometimes doesn't make much sense, at least not yet, I love this album. There's just something with the melodies and the overal feeling of it that strikes a chord in me. The deep and clean voice that JP has just makes even better.
