Good news!
It has taken me too long to write this. It shouldn't have taken me so long, because it is good news. No, it's fantastic news!
Sebastian is awake! And he's communicative!
Not in the way that he can talk. But he can answer yes-or-no questions by blinking. He can't sit up by himself yet, but he can with a little bit of help. And the hospital staff is working with him every day, to work on getting things functioning again.
Now it's very much a question of how much fight there's in him. How much he can channel into rebuilding himself. While he's been pretty lazy in the past, I know that there's a TON of energy in him. I have hope for him. He might not ever get back to the way he used to be, but I think he can go far. Time will tell.
