Vikings and Vomiting
Off sick again today, had a stomach bug or some food poisoned me, seriously why am I cursed to be ill so often at the mo? Scott looked after me though and I watched 'My Neighbour Totoro' which always cheers me up! Not so bad today, gonna go Hoole Library and get new watching material at some point!
Anyway the weekend was ace, went to York, saw some Viking action, including the 'Best Beard Competition'! Then got to be a massive geek as the Hogwarts Express was in town so we went for a peak, got really too excited about the whole thing!!
Went to see my cousin at the Asgard Crafts stall in the '10th Century Traders' tent, and I got me the last one of these:

Then we mooched around York a bit, got some fancy ales and went back to the room, met up with Jim and Cat for dinner (where Scott reckons I was poisoned!). Then went to The Royal Oak for lots of pintage, also met up with Rob, Kat and Lisa! Can't remember walking back, that's Old Rosie for you!
Sunday we went for a nice wander about, checked out all the bookshops, spotted an ace Edgar Allan Poe collection but was £125 per book! Then went to my Great Uncle & Auntie's for the traditional ham and chips lunch, chatted to Joe for ages ad helped him wash up. Elsie was quite sedate this time and just giggled lots, but damn you Alzheimers!
Headed home and had a buttie just before the trauma started!
