Epic Win
A good weekend in all respects! I went to Brendan & Lucy's engagement party in Blackpool, got to wear the bustle skirt at last!! Was a good party, ace to see them, Emma, Chris and Nathan, was not so ace to see they had invited the girl the ex cheated on me with but I just avoided her haha. silly cow! Got a bit drunk but managed to get up to Anthrax and such things in 5 inch heels with incident!
Great breaky in the B&B set us up for the day, had an amble round Blackpool but not for long as every idiot was out, along with hen parties at 11am!! Went home via Scott's. In the eve had a chippy tea and a few drinks before watching a
phenomenal Austrailian film called Undead, it was so funny, it had a zombie fish, and aliens too!!
Sunday we chilled out in the morning, I made us some bruschetta (bit obsessed aty the mo) and Scott headed off for his gig. I watched the Everton vs Man Utd F.A Cup semi-final at home, was nerve racking but we won on penalties. Rang my Dad who was there just after the win and the noise was deafening hahaha it was fantastic, roll on the final. I did do a lot of jumping around the sitting room when Jag scored the final penalty, must either get to the final or go Liverpool on the day, fingers crossed!
On that note I made the decision to go the gig (in Manchester I might add), first person I saw was Utd fan Chris who bought me a pint, I think to stop me gloating!! Rob, Kat, Polish friend Ostry and Neil were out too which was good. Burial were on first and the best I have seen them, Profandus Tenebrarum next who were good in places (they are from Catalan, or Mataln as the Burial singer thought and said on stage, classic moment), then Diamanthian who sounded great! Managed to leave early as didn't have to wait for Scott, but I did give Neil a lift!
Off to the pub quiz with my Dad shortly and to see the Iron Maiden film tomorrow, splednid!!
