Funky Festive Season Part II

Jan 06, 2009 21:51

Anyone want to find me some more LJ friends lots of mine seem to have given up on this :(

anyway, brief continuation of the update.

Rested lots between Birthday and New Year, played my first game of Pictionary which was hilarious and ate too much cheese. My cousin Hannah and husband Peter visited which was nice, aint seen them for a couple of years.

New Years Eve - was fantastic, went the Chester Bells, it was fancy dress so I went as Euronymous, die went as Marc Bolan, Mark as Michael Hutchins, George as James/Bobby Brown (or a brown outfit with varying name tags), there were so many cool costumes, of note were Steve Irwin, Fay Wray (complete with Gorilla hand), Freddie Mercury in 'I Want to Break Free' mode!!

For a selection of exciting phtos click here.

Lots of drinking and general silliness and a bit of dancing! Very late on there was lots of peculiar techno, and would you believe 2 (fat, trendy) blokes) tried it on when I was in full Black Metal mode?!?! Odd.

Things of note this year, been on a quest for an extra Wii remote, have a £10 HMV voucher but they haven't had them in stock, grr.

Scott and I went to Liverpool museum to see the Liverpool Music and Egyptian exhibition, both very good indeed "mummified hand!!". Also saw the footy bit and Aquarium, was very good, need to go back to see the bits we missed.

Back at work this week, feeling the festive bulge somewhat, time to get trim again!

And finally, my Mum met the Hairy Bikers in town today, so lucky, they were gone by the time I had my lunch break :( She said they were ace and she chatted to them about pies, specifically the one of theirs she made at Xmas \m/

museum, new year, fancy dress, bells
