Corpsegrinder...Corpesgrinder...Corpseginder..Corpsegrinder...GRIIIIIND!!!
Such a good weekend last week! Thursday I went to Satan's Hollow with Neil to see firstly Onslaught who did 'Power from Hell' and were so Metal the amp caught fire!! Then Destruction played and were ace, Curse the Gods followed by Nailed to the Cross - doesn't get any better than that for the first opening tracks haha!
Friday after work I went to Liverpool to pick up Rachel and Scott from the Swan, drove to Manchester (got ripped off parking) and went the MEN Arena to see Bill Bailey. Got in there to find we were ten rows from the front and Chris was directly behind us!! Bill was ace, ripped everything from the AA to ASDA (Hey ASDA, I ain't gonna be your Bitch! - I got ham but I'm not a hamster) and even went a bit Death Metal at one point \m/ I wish I could spend a day in his brain!
Saturday was nice and restful, went out briefly, watched some darts! Watched Eragon in the evening and drank some cider. Eragon was nowt special but at least Jeremy Irons, John Malcovich and Robert Carlisle made it alright!
The highlight of Sunday was going to Leeds with Scott, Paul and Neil to see MASSACRE!!! Alas got there and had to suffer 4 average support bands! Then Extreme Noise Terror were up who were face-meltingly good! ESTABLISHMENT BOOOLOOOOOCCKKKSSS!! Then came Massacre who basically just played all of From Beyond, was excellent. It was their last gig ever and Kam Lee handed Scott the mic at the end to sing the final parts of Corpsegrinder - therefore becoming the last singer in Massacre (unless they reform again haha), not sure Scott has come down from his cloud of happiness yet! The only downer of the gig was for the first time ever I had my camera but my sodding memory card was still in the computer back home! Got back at 2.30am so was a bit knackered on Monday!
So far this week I've played two games of Trivial Pursuit with the Marf (and I have won both muha) and battled with her on the jigsaw of doom! Been to visit Kira to give her presents (her birthday is today) Been kicking arse at the gym to! Planet Terror with Die and Marf later, sorted!
