'You're in a band! That's a business-class ticket to cool with complementary mojo after takeoff

Just got back from what could arguably be one of the best nights of my life. It started off with work this morning. After that, I picked up a friend and we headed to Festival Hall to watch Evanescence. We had a few wrong turns, did countless backtracking, but finally ended up where we were supposed to be.

After sitting through a couple of front bands, we yelled in anticipation as the stage was unveiled to show Amy Leigh in all her glory. Damn she was hot.

They played most of the songs from the album 'Fallen', and some covers and songs from their first album 'Origin'.

The atmosphere was extremely cool, a lot of people, girls mainly, jumping up and down and bobbing their heads to the thump of the bass.

Amy's vocals blew me away. She sounds great even live. When she sat in front of the piano, the crowd erupted, and she began to sing 'My Immortal.'

She did 'Bring me to Life' as well, and all the other hits.

AFter the concert, we cruised down to Lygon Street, and sat at a cafe. Halfway through the order, she suggested we go McCafe instead, so back to the city we went, but not before running through the sprinklers several times at Lygon Street park.

After McCafe, I took her home, and then went to my own as well.

No words could express how much fun I had tonight. The concert was great, the fun and the company was awesome.
