Up Coming Birthday News...
I'm going to have an art party for my up coming 20th birthday.
This whole turning 20 event is kind of odd. I never dreamt about being 20. When I was young it was about being 16, then 18, then 21. I don't care about the significance of 21 anymore, being that I don't drink alcohol... but 20?
It's my 2nd decade alive. The added responsibility that this number implies is just... threatening to my dependent self. I'm ready and willing to get over it though. God, I hope I'm going to be a kick ass adult.
Anyway, for my b-day party I want people to come over, chill with me and make art. We can smoke, they can drink, be sober... whatever (besides crack, etc). Listen to good music, people could dress up and do photographs, other people can paint, my friend Carly could possibly bring up some clay so we can make stuff to get fired... etc. I know a lot of good artists and people who just love to create. I'll invite some musicians over, maybe I'll sing a bit. We can even take it down by the pool or in my courtyard. The people who don't want to create can be our subjects or read sexy poetry to me.
Dancing will be encouraged.
I don't know when this will be, but I'm already excited.
