Serena Rice is your average caterer; she feels trapped in the life she leads. Bills are mounting, she's pretty sure her boyfriend is cheating, and the ficus her great-aunt Margery gave is just about to kick it! Nothing exciting (or even _interesting_) has ever happened to Serena Rice. Twenty-two hours from now not only will she be up $106,000, but she'll also be standing on the ledge of the world famous Empire State building with a gun pointed at her head.
Enter Leta Duncan, known assassin, fiery thrill-seeker, notorious heartthrob! There to retrieve Serena's windfall, she's suddenly taken by the otherwise common girl, a woman who has lived a life so much the antithesis of her own. Instead of fulfilling her contract, she now has to take out the person paying her to take out Serena Rice!

Just Serena’s generally being unsatisfied with her life, and how she thought she’d be in a different place in her now by now.

Leta meets Serena, and they have coffee together, and they totally hit it off, and spend all afternoon together, and then she has to go cause she has that pesky assassination contract thing to do.

Leta is holding her at gunpoint, wearing a ski mask, but then she’s all, I can’t do this, and takes off the ski mask, and then Serena is all, the hell? And Leta says, come on, I can help you out, but you need to trust me!
5. In Between Days - Ben Folds
Leta takes Serena to her apartment, that’s like, the complete opposite of Serena’s crazy organized chaos, and they get to know each other. Leta tries to teach Serena to shoot a gun, Serena tries to cook breakfast for Leta, messes with her ipod playlists.
6. We Are Not Going To Make It - The Presidents of the United States of America
Serena is done with being cooped up in the apartment while Leta tries to figure out a way for them to get rid of the big bad, and goes to the farmer’s market. Leta comes home to find her gone. She finds a note telling her where she went. She goes to find her, and realizes Serena has been made, so obligatory action-movie car chase scene ensues.
7. I Feel It All - Feist
They have to dress up for this benefit gala where they’ll find the big bad, and after they’re all dolled up, Serena freaks out that even if they manage to stop this madness, she still won’t see Leta again, and that kinda sucks, and then they make out.
8. The Way You Look Tonight - Frank Sinatra

9. I'mma Shine - Youngbloodz
The final action sequence, in which Leta finally kills the Jonathan Kane.
10. Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk - Rufus Wainwright
Serena goes back to her old life, dumps her loser boyfriend, works an event or two, and generally misses the hell out of Leta.
11. One More Night - Stars
Leta really misses Serena, and even though she tries to fight it, she ends up giving into it, so she goes back to Serena’s bakery/office/workshop (wherever a caterer works out of) to find her.
12. Send Me On My Way - Rusted Root
