Okay, so stole this from angel_grace and apparently you pick your favorite top 5 shows. Some of mine that narrowly missed the cut? CSI, Lost, Joan of Arcadia, Point Pleasant, and Crossing Jordan
Gilmore Girls
1. The first character you first fell in love with: Rory. From the moment she said "Are you my new daddy?" I knew I'd love her for... well... it ended up being until season 4. But I love her again.
2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now: Paris, I thought she'd be one of those one's I'd love to hate, not one I'd actually grow to love. She's awesome.
3. The character everyone else loves that you don't: Dean, I wouldn't say everyone else loves him though, but he is popular. I only tolerated him from the beginning, but after his cheating on Lindsay, it's down right hate.
4. The character you love that everyone else hates: The only person I can think of that fits this description is Jess. A lot of people hated him and his cocky attitude, but I guess I saw behind that and realized it was just a defense and loved him.
5. The character you used to love but don't any longer: Emily. I used to think she was interesting and had the girls' best interests at heart, and when she and Richard had fights, or Jason overrode her party, or when she and Richard split up, I ached for her, I sympathized. Then she went and prodded Chris into coming to the vow renewal just to screw up Lorelai and Luke, and now, I hate her.
One Tree Hill
1. The first character you first fell in love with: Haley. From her first scene at the cafe I've loved her. She's great, and Bethany is amazing. When I trip sometimes and almost fall I always hear her saying (and I'm paraphrasing) "I fell today. Totally bit it, face down in the pavement, butt in the air." Plus, as the person who briefly recapped the show on TWOP said, "The girl has a Gilmore motor, but not enough gas."
2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now: I guess Peyton. At first she seemed, stupid, foolish, and a poser. Plus Hilarie seemed a little uncomfortable as her. But Hilarie's really grown into the role and turned Peyton into someone I enjoy, despite the drug problem.
3. The character everyone else loves that you don't: Lucas, don't get me wrong, Chad's awesome, but I don't love Lucas. He's just.. okay. Plus sometimes, he's REALLY stupid.
4. The character you love that everyone else hates: I guess Brooke, a lot of people think she's a self absorbed snob, but I love her. She's so entertaining, and funny, and sometimes, when she lets her guard down, she's really sweet. Plus Sophia's the shizznit.
5. The character you used to love but don't any longer: Deb. I used to adore her. I thought she'd be a bitch, but then she came on and befriended Karen, stood up to Dan, stuck up for Lucas, and I loved her. But lately, with her wanting to destroy Nathan and Haley's marriage, I'm realizing she is a bit of a bitch. I'm hoping Nathan's distress over Haley's leaving will wake her up though.
Desperate Housewives
1. The first character you first fell in love with: Susan, she is just awesome, and reminds me of Lorelai, plus she's funny and makes huge mistakes sometimes and gets caught in embarassing situations(Locked out Naked, Stuck in Mike's Floor, Dog ate her earring, Dress ripped to shreds in catfight right before going on at the fashion show), but she still has grace.
2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now: Lynette, Mostly because I couldn't identify with her, and had never heard of Felicity Huffman, and I hated her kids and she seemed boring. But ever since she left the boys on the curb I've loved her.
3. The character everyone else loves that you don't: Rex, a lot of people seem to love him. I don't hate him, but.. I just don't care. To me he's filler that makes the plot go.
4. The character you love that everyone else hates: I honestly can't think of one that everyone hates. Not even Edie or Mrs. Huber. So I can't answer this.
5. The character you used to love but don't any longer: Zach, I thought he was just caught up in something he couldn't help and the idea of him and Julie was sweet, but lately... psycho.
The OC
1. The first character you first fell in love with: Ryan, ever since his comment to Sandy about Social Security running out before he gets it I've loved him. Sure, he's made some bad choices (coughMarissacough) But I won't hold that against him... now myself... I'd hold against him.
2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now: I'm gonna have to go with Alex on this one. I was predisposed to hating her. (Ewww new character) Plus she was gonna date Seth. But she ended up being surprisingly awesome.
3. The character everyone else loves that you don't: Marissa. Mischa is way too thin, and I hate that Marissa drinks, and throws tantrums and basically acts like a 5 year old. Get over it ho.
4. The character you love that everyone else hates: Lindsey I guess, she's really the only one I can think of people hating aside from Zach, and I like her. It think she and Ryan are a perfect match, and she's NORMAL. Unlike skanky super skinny ho "CosmoGirl".
5. The character you used to love but don't any longer: Kirsten I guess, she used to be awesome and have these great scenes with all the younger folk, but lately she's been a little... huffy. I guess she has some reason, but it's beginning to grate.
Everwood
1. The first character you first fell in love with: Amy. I know, I know. Everyone hates me now. But I loved Emily VanCamp in Glory Days, and I might be related to her. Plus Season One Amy kicked ass.
2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now: This one is a tie. Dr. Abbott I thought would piss me off, but he's actually awesome. Hannah I thought would interfere with Ephram and Amy and I didn't like that idea, but she won me over by being me only younger and with a dad that's dying and she makes me cry and laugh and I love her.
3. The character everyone else loves that you don't: Andy I guess, he's seemed to forgot everything he's learned the last two seasons this season.
4. The character you love that everyone else hates: Madison, I know she's kinda gone, but I liked her when she was there. Which is weird because of my aversion to Hannah but this was back when Amy was going through her bratty stage and I liked that Ephram wasn't dragged in.
5. The character you used to love but don't any longer: Andy, like I said, he's seemed to forgot everything he's learned the last two seasons this season.
