Woo-Hoo!
OK, last night was awesome. I got out of work at 10:30 and Kim asked me to invite Syndee (our supervisor, and the most amazing girl in the world) out for coffee at Mike's Diner. So, we go and had some great conversation, and we laughed for 3 hours! If I had money, I would have gotten drunk, but I am always broke, so I didn't. So we are sitting there minding our own business and all of a sudden this guy at the next table over pops his head over the divider and says, "Say Hot Penis!" So we were like, whatever...so he says it again and I just said it to shut him up. So he sinks back behind the wall and pops up again 2 minutes later and apologizes. He then tells us that he has Barry Bond's head, which he then holds up. We all laughed and then asked us if we wanted it...we declined, but then he offered us a Charlie's Angel boob! He was a weird guy. We talked and he told us that he has drinking parties all the time and offered us an open invite. We also traded work info and offered to share in our discounts. I can always use a good 40% off discount at Sam Goody! The night ended with a scrumptious hug from Syndee, which was quite unexpected.
Anyway, that was last night. Tonight, Kim and I got out of work at 10:30 and headed over to Mike's again, this time to meet Kt, who had a rough night last night. We talked and eventually pissed our pants! She made me feel so good tonight. We hadn't been this close since we first met and I really liked that. She was extra adorable tonight, and I think we all left the diner feeling "shiny and new" as Madonna would put it. Overall, it was the perfect therapy for all of us...laughter, I love it! Anyway...I'll be posting some stuff tomorrow night after I get back from the concert (Alanis, the Cranberries, Better Than Ezra, Train, American Hi-Fi and Five for Fighting). I am so excited to see the cranberries and alanis again! It's been so long! Ok, bye!
