(no subject)
I just posted a second ago, I'll be going into Nola on Saturday. I'm going to the house to get whatever I can salvage (I don't expect it to be much, if anything at all), and will be staying at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown New Orleans. I'll email their number. I'll be checking on Trac Phones today, so I may have a cell number that I'll email as well.
I wish I was taking a friend with me for moral support and I know seeing the house is going to be difficult to say the least. Such is life I guess.
I'll also be checking on my Dad's business, Southport Hall. It was dubbed the hottest place to be on Friday and Saturday nights, now it sits with National Guard Troops in the parking lot. It was broken into last week by looters who left an axe and a bottle of whiskey on the front steps. I find that strangely creepy myself.
I'll take pics and post. I know there will be a 'story' to tell when I return. A story I'll never forget...
