Day 22 - A song that you listen to when you’re sad
Miss Misery (Early Version) by Elliot Smith is so much better than the already great Oscar nominated version that was in Good Will Hunting. I think what makes it better is that it has a much sadder feel to it. The song that it turned into just seemed a bit too upbeat. What's funny about this version is that the words "Miss Misery" aren't even used in the song.
As it is, a song about alcoholism and lost love has all the ingredients for an amazingly sad song.
