Loving the new house... hating Comcast!
Had an excellent move into our new rental house over the weekend. A big thanks to Nathan, Chris and the in-laws for all of their help. It only took a few hours, and now there is so much room at our new place, Annie and I don't know what to do.
The only issue over the weekend was with Comcast. We scheduled an early Sunday morning appointment and they showed up on time. Unfortunately, the installers had no idea what they were doing, and because the system over at Comcast was down that morning, they couldn't activate anything so that it worked properly. Still, we have basic cable, so that works for us for now. They are supposed to be at the house again today, so we'll see if they can fix our HD box and our internet.
Also, I got to put the trash/recycle bins on the curb this morning, and that was just cool. No more gigantic, smelly apartment dumpster full of old furniture and ants.
