it is not bad at all, it's a masterpiece. one of ellen's best performances.

Probably how everything looks like a L'oreal ad, and how annoyingly tiresome that could easily be.

Her little brother Sonny goes missing and she feels at fault so she spends the film trying to find him. The movie flashes back from past to present, and the different frames that are on screen at once are meant to represent everything she is viewing and feeling at that moment. It actually works really well, it wasn't confusing like I thought it would be.

I saw this at a film festival last year and enjoyed it quite a bit.

I didn't really like it as much as the book. I think it was the way ellen played tracey, it didn't seem right to me.
