The book wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything I would put on my MUST READ list. The ending is also different from the movie.

I enjoyed the book. Griet narrates, so she has more of a voice whereas in the movie you mostly rely on her physical presence to get a sense of her character... but considering the story that works well. The movie's so gorgeous and more memorable, I think.

i really enjoyed the book; moreso than the movie. the writing style was very refreshing and easy to read, and you liked the story, so i definitely recommend it.
