Not a review, but had to share.
Yesterday, I watched "red" from Kieslowski's Three Colors Trilogy. It was my first Kieslowski film, and yes, I know that "Red" is actually the last film in the trilogy, but I also know that the three films are separate in terms of plot and cast. Thematically related, yes, but not narratively.
It's been a very long time since I've seen a film where, after finishing it for the first time, I immediately wanted to watch it again. The late hour prevented me, and a busy schedule today has kept me from seeing "Red" again.
However, I DID run out to the local library branch and picked up "Blue" and "White." Just finished watching "Blue." Tomorrow will be "White" and "Red" again.
These films are just stunning. Unbelievable.
