Ladies and... ladies!
Hello~ It's come to my attention that this summer will be host to another World Cup, this time the ladies of the sport in Germany. (Damn, guess who was actually very close to attaining tickets to Berlin/Dresden matches? :( *pout*)
I wanted to help get the women some attention because since the creation of the women's teams, they haven't gotten much love. I wanna change that because they deserve some sort of recognition for their work* and dedication and it's better than watching baseball. ;) So, without further ado, here's my "U.S. Women's National Soccer Team" Post.
Here are our ladies:
Captain - Christie Rampone
The squad - Hope Solo
Amy LePeilbet (Lady crush)
Megan Rapinoe
Abby Wambach
Ladies win gold at the Olympics but they don't stop at just the Olympics
(Sydney LeRoux and Alex Morgan)
And it's nice to see the girls in one colour after a season of WPS
(Shannon Boxx, Amy LePeilbet, Rachel Buehler, and Christie Rampone)
But really, "pressure makes us"
We'll see who has what it takes in Germany! ;D
