On Wednesday, I went to the doctor for my ten week appointment!
I have to say, the most excting part was listening to my baby's heartbeat. It was really strong and really fast. *grin* The doctor said it was a little faster than it should be, but not to worry because she's going to check it next week and hopefully it will have slowed down. I think the baby's heartbeat was extra fast because the doctor was poking at her/him and it made her/him anxious and/or excited. hahah. I don't know... it was the cutest thing I've ever heard, though. I couldn't stop smiling. Steve came in toward the end of my appointment and the doctor let him listen to the heartbeat. He had this huge smile on his face like he almost couldn't believe it. Priceless.
Last night I had my hand on my stomach while I tried to fall asleep and I felt the baby's heartbeat! Steve tried to feel it too and he said he could definately feel a little something in there. Then, earlier this morning I had my hand on my stomach again and the little thing kicked me! I know it's not very big but it butted it's head or leg or something against the side of my womb and it moved my hand. It moves around my womb soooo fast, though and it's so tiny so it's hard to feel it sometimes, but sometimes, just sometimes, you can definately tell it's in there. And I think that's just about the most adorable thing ever.
So that's all of the baby gushing I will do for now, but I just had to write that down. *grin* !!!
