(no subject)
Well, here I am, as I never update this journal. I am sitting here, 6:42PM at my cozy Tennessee apartment.....which just happens to be far from the base because I hate going to there, it sucks...work=war.
So, next month I will be in Iraq, technically Kuwait first and then in October I will enter the war torn country...this is what happens when you don't think too straight before making your future decisions...if I could take it back I'd still be in college...pursuing my degrees in Art and Criminal Justice. Who would have ever thought that life could be easier than this...much less stressful, it's a wonder why some of us volunteer ourselves in a high risk "job".
I'd say that if you were going to join the military than you need to think very long and hard before making this decision, it might as well be called a life or death situation...as I do not know what my fate holds for me in the long run. I pray that I can build a future after my 4 years here and I hope to God that I actually survive these 4 years. So to you all, enjoy life, and before taking a job outside of being a civilian...think about it first.
