Abridged, but still kind of wordy, because it's me. Look, I honestly hadn't planned on apping this girl. It just happened. I'm probably more surprised than some of you.

This is Éponine Thénardier, from Les Misérables, and she'll be arriving soonish. To be clear about one thing right off she's from the Victor Hugo novel, not the Claude-Michel

Am I allowed to comment just to be impressed you've read something 1,900 pages long multiple times? I start frowning hard at books when they get past 400 pages, and my copy of Infinite Jest has had a bookmark in the same place since the last Bush administration because OMG WORDS.

To be fair, I did a lot of skimming of the background/history chapters when I was younger. Now I just nerd out over them, because they're fascinating.
