I've gotten back in touch with a few friends that I haven't heard from in years. But still haven't gotten better at keeping in touch with my current friends. It seems that I am so ADD with my friends and connections sometimes.
I've been thinking about Paris a lot recently. I remember when they annnounced my flight back home was boarding, and I seriously considered not getting on it. How differently would my life have turned out? How long would I have lived in Paris? Would I still be there now? When am I actually going to live there?
My apt is driving me a little crazy. Although it's my own apt, I styill have to share a kitchen with my landlord upstairs. It was ok for awhile, but I want to be back fully on my own. I would love to buy (rent is really just throwing money out the window), but with houses as pricy as they are here, I just don't know. I think a "cheap" house here would probably be about $150,000... and you don't see many that low. Renting vs. buying... what you can afford vs. an investment in the future... goodness. Renting here vs. renting in Paris? hmmm...
