Reading

I read a lot. But a huge chuck of what I read is crap. It's like quiet TV you can take on the train. Fun to read, but not brain expanding. Additionally, because I bounced around a bit in high school, I have gaps in my literary education (Scarlett Letter? Never read it. Walled Lake had crappy English program and did American Lit in 10th grade, Waterford did American Lit in 11h.  And don't get me started about how my Brit Lit  class in 11th grade was amazingly crappy. I didn't learn anything about Macbeth, it's a good thing I learned about it in 10th grade, but I can tell you about my English teacher's son who stuffed a bit of a toy airplane up his nose when he was two. And there was this time her husband got locked out of the house naked...). So I have gaps. Does anyone else have any weird gaps in their education?  Oh, I never took physics either.
