I *finally* knitted myself a hat. I finished it today, and I like it! I used the same pattern as the one for my dad's hat, and I must say, the second time around is much faster. But that's with everything, so why am I surprised?
One of my class mates is going to have a baby, and I'm breaking out my needles for some baby projects. I'm so excited since it's my first time to knit for a baby. I spent about three hours on ravelry looking for hat and blanket patterns. Found some stuff I really liked, but I'm waiting on his wife to tell me what she wants first. I also need to check up on the type of yarn I can use for baby stuff. Almost all of the patterns call for bulky cotton, but that's going to be expensive! I'm just not sure if using anything besides cotton is a good idea since it might be irritating.
My life rolls on without much to say. This is, however, not a bad thing.
I'm reading Dracula, which I stole from
dragonbetween, and I'm really liking it. I seriously expected it to be as dry as Frankenstein; however, his writing style is smooth, so it's enjoyable instead of dull.
Also the pain in my hip is really bad this month since my period is now a week late. Last night I was in so, so much pain that I couldn't sleep. *sob* Where is my period?
