May you all have a wonderful day filled with football and tryptophan.

Mine shall be filled with neither. I shall be watching MST3k marathon and stuffing my face with whatever I can scrounge around the house. Skipping out on family time to spend time with a friend and MST3k. Totally worth it. Looks to be a great day.
All right - do-it-yourself Turkey Day Marathon! All you really need for T-giving is good company and good food - and it can be a bag of Chee-Tos with a friend.
I had a good day. I got to see some relatives I don't get to see often and saw some new ones. The next generation for that part of the family is here. Lots of left overs we got to take home. The dip I brought was a hit but the recipe made too much for the gathering so I'm saving some of it to bring to Chambanacon tomorrow. I'm concerned about going because it's so out of my comfort zone. It's the longest solo drive I've taken and the first time I've spent both nights at the con at the hotel and it's the first relaxicon I've been to. If it works out I'd like to make it a tradition.
It's part of my quest to figure out what makes me happy. I don't mean the odd family trip to see my loved ones, I mean on a day-to-day basis. I feel there's something missing. It may be something simple like a new hobby or getting out with friends more. This year has been one moment of frustration after another. Here's hoping the next year will be better.
