yes, actually, both MacGyver and Harry Potter. The former involving a trip to Ireland just at the end of the Troubles, and the latter involving an accident between Snape and Hermione and some polyjuice. The ending of the latter was a little soft, but the end of the former was fabulous, involving rescuing Mac from an Irish seisiun (pronounced "session", as in jam)...

Well, that depends on whether or not your personal definition of "fanfic" has a linguistic tag of "+badly-written". Sort of like the people who seriously believe that all science fiction is garbage because whenever they find something in the genre that they like, they redefine it as "not science fiction".
I also think that there is a good case for dispensing with 'ratings' in the headers and replacing the line with the writer's age and last grade in English.
And if I see 'reign' for 'rein' again I will not rein in my anger...
