Double success!
A bit back, I got a used Ibanez Gio fat strat to use as a beater electric. I figure that for travelling around, it's good to have, and it's not one I care to much about if it gets nicked.
A few trips to Toronto ago, though, the jack gave up the ghost and stopped working. I've had the new one, but never got around to soldering it in place. Today, I've done so, so the guitar now works again.
Also, it's told me its name, which I didn't know before. But as I was soldering the new jack in place, I realized the perfect name for a beater.
