obligatory college post...
hey ya'll.... so i have NOT been keepin up with the lj world at all, but i figured i might as well update on how everything is down here in tucson..
hmmm where to start... i've learned to appreciate my hall. it was once a motel and therefore it looks like one. i have a single, but i have a suite mate named francisco who i seriously spend 75% of my time with!! i lucked out getting someone hella chill. jack's two doors down, allyson's two floors down. basically, it's all good company. the hall's pretty quiet compared to all the others too, which is nice because i don't like being in a hectic environment 24/7!!! the only bad part is how far it is from campus and all the other dorms. we're at the very edge of everything, so i have to bike everywhere, and guess what my bike got stolen first week!!! i had to get a new one. but walking and biking around has made me lose soooo much weight, which allows me to eat whatever the fuck i want these days it's sweet :)
my classes are pretty damn cool. i have physical universe (astronomy), issues of society and pop culture of latin america, linguistics, spanish, and english. the only class i pretty much dread is the english class... it's a fucking political science class!!! the only thing english about it is we write essays from time to time! the spanish class is way easy i tried to switch out but couldn't... the teacher is a trip but the people are so dumb. astronomy and linguistics are hella cool, and my latin america class reminds me so much of minnick because all we do is talk about pop culture and stereotypes. the professor's kinda scary though.
there are sooooo many bros and hos here!!! i miss my ghetto and brown people!!! but there are a ton of good people here too. met some chill people, and am hangin with people i haven't seen in ages which has been nice! and you really are fucked up alll the time in college. . . hahahahaha tons of parties and kickbacks and just gettin crunk around campus... good times. there aren't enough gay boys though!!!! i've only hooked up once so far and it's been two weeks!!! i've been suggested to do spring rush for the gay frat.... hahahahaha doubt i will but the thought has popped in my head a couple of times!
anywho... don't really know what else i can say. the only thing that's been a drag so far is that i've been breaking out like crazy!!!! i think it's the topsy-turvy weather. it's either extremely rainy and sticky or it's extremely hot and sticky. but at least it's cooler than phx! speaking of, i'll be coming down to phx for a weekend relatively soon, so maybe i'll seem some of ya'll
