(no subject)
So I've been out of school for a month and already I'm irritated at home and with friends and shit. For the most part though, Summer is going amazingly. I'm sad because my sister came home from school for a couple of days, then went on vacation for two and a half weeks, came home for three days and went back up to Knoxville. I predict I'm going to go there a LOT this Summer.
Uhm, JANINE AND I FOUND AN APARTMENT THAT WE LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!! After a long and arduous search we are very pleased with this one. In fact, she found it on the internet, and because we had already looked at like 15 apartments we were hoping this would just be it. And we certainly think it is! It's called 626 dekalb, and it borders Inman Park and Cabbagetown, which are two amazing areas. One side of the complex is a street with train tracks and a bunch of nothing (that road, dekalb street, is being built up because theres literally nothing there). But then starts a little quaint neighborhood where are apartment faces. It's close to school and close to Scott's apartment complex, and it's close to all my favorites in Atlanta. WOOHOOOO. The one we looked at, the one we chose, has a rather small living room and nice sized kitchen and an AMAZINGLY HUGE PORCH. I'm a little concerned about the living room size, I guess because I pictured having a larger living room to have lots of friends hang out in, but I don't really care as much because our bedrooms, closets, and bathrooms are HUGE. And what makes this apt stand out most is because the rooms are on opposite sides of the living room, and a little hallway connects the rooms to their own bathroom and closet, and those little hallways can be closed off by massive sliding wood doors! It's so awesome, I can close off my own little wing! God, I cannot wait. I want to turn in our applications within the next two days to keep the quote the realtor gave us but Janine and I both work and so do our parents and they're gonna want to see it as well. But screw it, we're moving in August 8th and I only wish it could be sooner. I cannot wait.
Going to a couple of concerts this week. WOOHOO
