Meanwhile, I'm going to go back to work. Now that my stupid cold is gone. If anyone wants to do something other than sit around, I've got a building that needs to be built.

How hard is it? You can find books on lots of things in the library.

...That isn't to say I haven't done construction projects or anything.

I'm not saying that I don't. I've helped build houses before, right before I arrived here, actually. I guess it didn't seem like anyone here would have the experience. A lot of the people around are either teenagers or heroes of some sort.

"Teenagers or heroes of some sort." ...You do realize that, depending on the kinds of worlds everyone comes from, they could be builders or shopkeepers in their teens?

I guess so, but I just haven't met anyone so far who seems like they have experience with building.

If you go to the southeastern edge of the village, you can see the construction site across the river. You'll have to go over the southern bridge and around, unless you want to wade through the water in this weather.

I'd rather not. I'm not used to this weather at all yet and the last thing I need's to get sick. I'll head down there after I'm done tidying the bar.
