Walter had managed to grab his journal, snatching it up before the Aerodactyl's second swoop sends the small item over the roof's edge. He throws a kick at the creature's claw as it passes, grazing it.
Bad move. Now the Aerodactyl knows something's picking a fight.

She's a bit torn. On one hand, maybe she should go for help. She might be able to ask Adell for an extra favour--he seemed competant enough. But, on the other hand, Walter might have this handled. He seemed much stronger in her mind.
So, unless things start to look bad for him, she'll be shifting about some ways away as she changes her mind between going to find help and just watching.]

Actually, no, the thought hasn't crossed her mind. She's a bit too worried for that. However, she thinks that Walter seems to have things enough in hand to not require going for help just yet. At the same time, though, there's no need to take chances.
So she'll be disappearing inside for a moment--Shirley must be out, since she hasn't made an appearance--to get bandages in case Walter gets injured by the end of it. She'll be back in a bit!]
