[Walter frowns at the interruption, setting down the piece of wood he had been contemplating either burning or drenching.]

Just m--? Oh. Colette.

[She looks at the charred wood littering the forest floor.]

Were you practicing your artes?

[filial_guardian]

...Yes. I'm terribly out of practice. [He makes a face, looking up from the pile of wood.] I've been doing a lot of building and not much of anything else.

You've been working really hard. Why don't you take a day to relax?

[filial_guardian]

This is pretty relaxing. [He gestures out at the various broken or burnt pieces of wood strewn around the space.] ...In comparison to building all day, at least.
