so ya know, i love sports. and i love lots of forms of entertainment.
but watching some of the super bowl pre-game stuff just makes me think, and kinda makes me sick.
first off, there was a "red carpet" where they had so-called "celebrities" come and just blab.
they had terrible acts perform to lip-synched music.
these people get paid so much money. actors, atheletes, coaches, "musicians" get paid millions and millions.
even the lowest paid NFL players get hundreds of thousands of dollars.
i put a quote around musicians because the ones that get paid so much money aren't even musicians.
they are just overproduced, singing models. we pay these people sooo much money for "entertainment".
most extremely, if we canceled all sports events for a year, and used all that money for things like poverty,
the world would be so much more of a better place. yes, you an argue that that would screw up the economy, but we're already pretty screwed as it is.
it makes me even more sick to se these people spend their money like crazy and have to go bankrupt.
