Got nothing to do? This friend will always be able to hang...

So I finally got a Facebook account!!! Word. I also already got three albums up. Double word. Go find and friend me and check out my photo albums. They're neato.

Anywho, I've been meaning to get the 31st seen-ya spotlight up. It's for a good friend of mine who never quite cared to spell correctly. So to get to it, please read this spotlight on...

When junior year started, I looked forward to lunch because I knew I'd be able to sit with Brian and Andrew and enjoy the period. When James, Stephen, and K. C. joined, I knew lunch would be a blast. When Jeff Behson tagged along though, I didn't quite know what to expect for I had never met or a said a word to him before. But as the year progressed, I got to know him quite well.

The main thing Jeff would do at lunch is he would always take someone's things if Brian didn't beat him to it, which was always amusing. Even if my stuff was often thrown under the neighboring lunch table.

However, one thing I've always appreciated Jeff for is that he and I have been able to hang out on many occasions throughout the past year. Interesting fact: last summer, when we went to see "The Forty-Year-Old Virgin" with Andrew, he gave me a dollar to dance on the DDR machine in the movie theatre. What resulted was nuts and gave me a great amount of material to write a sweet essay that helped get me into JHU. Yes, I actually told college admissions about that evening because it was a day where things were spontaneously happening.

And speaking of spontaneous, Jeff normally can elicit spontaneous things out of people. One evening last summer, he, James, and I decided to go hang with J. D. Koblan and have him come over to my house. On the ride back, Jeff recorded J. D. free-styling. What can I say, it was entertaining.

Jeff will still probably claim it has his idea, but he and I went as "the stars" to the Night of the Stars dance. It was a funny night as he improvised a costume in a matter of like 20 minutes using extra stars that I had cut out. Granted, his was a little more humorous as he had two stars over his nipples with the rest along the bottom of his shirt to form a huge smiley face.

And how can I forget the funniest night of the year when he along with Brian, Andrew, James, and I went to the mall and Best Buy? He had been running away on me for most of the time, but when I left him in the Best Buy parking lot, he started running through the trees like a confused deer back to the mall. It was so funny, I almost died laughing.

Basically, I have treasured Jeff's friendship so much for he has always been around to do whatever. Like last night, for example, after hanging at his house for a bit, we drove to Manville to see "Nacho Libre" at the stadium seating theatre there. I had kinda been bored all day, but he helped change things up a bit. Throughout the year, he has played many times on Xbox Live to make things fun, and he was there with my cousin and me when we heard some random online gamer proclaim, "When the Xbox turns on, the real life begins..." Yeah, Jeff and I thought he was weird too.

So Jeff, who cares if you rarely spelled anything correctly on the LJ comments? You've been such a great friend, and it's a shame I didn't meet you sooner. College is what you make of it, so I'm sure you'll make RVCC worth your time. May this summer be just as enjoyable, if not better than how you've helped me enjoy the past year. I'll never forget you, and may we continue to hang out frequently for a very long time. Peace out, dude.
