my dead language
I find this result particularly amusing because back in my 20's, when I traveled in SF Fandom circles, I had a friend whose post grad studies were in dead languages. One night to amuse him, I postulated a cultural event where a rink could be filled with clay, and then dancers wearing triangle shaped shoes would come out and perform on the surface, after which it would be projected onto some sort of large screen (diamondvision) and he would come out and read it to us. Then, the language zamboni would clear the surface and Act II would begin.
