once we moved everything out of the corner so the tree can go up tomorrow, we had enough room for sword hanging, and so -- heres the bookshelf corner as it looks tonight!

they are ever so much cooler now that I can see them all the time. (THough Strider's sword casually standing in the corner was also comforting to me)

Ya know...I LOVE the Edward Scissorhands doll on the table. ::teehee::

Now the crafty side of me is repainting your lampshade green then putting gold leaves on it.

The lampshades are barkpaper with birch leaves - I wouldn't object to green, though. But I'm not a gold girl....

Wow - I'm impressed!

What wonderful banners - and the swords... and Daughter would kill for one of those Edward Scissorhands figures!

Edward was my anniversary present the year we went to Toronto for the Two Towers exhibit. (He was actually in the car when it was broken into, I am still amazed how polite the canadian theves were - they didn't make a mess, and they only took what the wanted (toll money off the dash and cd's) The curve of his back is an extraordinary triumph of geometry - I love to hold him.

Hmmm. I don't remember the part about "Seven stars and seven crowns and Edward Scissorhands and one White Tree"...

*grins even before she says this*

No, Faramir's has a big square-ish knob on the end....

and the inset with the etching of the birds. But this is as close as I am likely to get - at least it's a ranger sword. Faramir's is sort of a halfway meld of these two. I would love to have his bow....
