update
Nicole is on her way to our subdivision while I watch the varmints. I just got word from a neighbor of ours who says the fire hasn't reached our subdivision yet. Homes in the subdivision north of ours burned and there may still be fire in the area. The neighbor said ash was still falling like snow.
