Phew!
It's good to be on winter break. Fall quarter was killing me, and my grades kind of reflect that. I passed everything, which is all I really care about. I'm ready to student teach, and more importantly, graduate. Winter quarter I'll be taking one more Spanish class to finish my minor (yay!), and part-time student teaching at an elementary school. I guess that will be the true test of whether or not I really want to be a teacher; if I hate it, then I'll take some time off, keep working at Starbucks, and then go to grad school for something OTHER THAN MUSIC. I love it but can feel myself getting completely burnt out. What a waste to spend 5 years getting a music ed degree, but I guess I can't be too hard on myself. At least I'm going to see it through from start to finish.
